Great bakery, the pastries are delicious and nice and warm. Freshly made, and great portions to size. Prices are amazing for the quality. I believe this is a family owned business and their friendliness is definitely welcoming. I have been here twice this week and would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone.

Athens Bakery 161 Cedar Lane Teaneck, NJ 07666 Hamantaschen (triangle cookie) Baklava Cheese Danish Brownie Chocolate Eclair Spanakopita (spinach pie) Before I get to the fantasic, let me briefly warn you about one item on the menu. Order the triangle cookie at your own risk. I couldn’t acquire a taste for it, let alone finish it. Do not let this one pastry discourage you because you won’t have issues with the other desserts. Each sweet dish is perfect in texture and packed with the perfect amount of filling! When you see the inside of the baklava and danish, you’ll know what it mean. If you aren’t in the mood for a dessert, try the spanakopita. It’s crispy, flaky outer texture filled warm spinach will keep you satisfied every bite of the way. It tastes just as good even when it’s re-heated in the oven! The pie isn’t available purchase until late morning. Seating is very limited, so be expected to order your goods to go! This local bakery is highly recommended and the owners are just as pleasant as their dessert! #athensbakery #teanecknj #cedarlane #spinachpie #baklava #spanakopita #brownies

If you are in the neighborhood of Teaneck and craving for Spanakopita ( Greek pie made of crispy dough, spinach and cheese) look for Athens bakery in Cedar lane, I’m sure you’ll love it. They have freshly bake cookies too.

This little bakery has been part of our family for years. The Span Kopita is fresh homemade and delicious. The Apple pies and cookies bring me back to my childhood . Go once and it will be part of your family.

I just love love love this place !! Everything is old school and delicious !! Super authentic to Greece! Family owned so they really appreciate your money, more then a big chain. I go there twice a week to eat the most delicious thing! It's a fillo dough ( without oil) filled with feta cheese and Spanish! And that is delicious !! If you in the area don't miss it !!

Spinach pie - delicious and the feta is not salty. Apple crumb was the best i have ever had. Apples were fresh and it wasn't too sweet. Naturally refreshing.
